yeah...!
Nitrifying bacteria converts ammonium salts to nitrates, while
nitrogen fixation is the process of converting atmospheric nitrogen to nitrate...

Yep...ammonium salt is first converted to nitrites by nitrosomona n finally to nitrates by d nitrobacter.

pls if your not sure of your answer here pls keep it to ur self cuz ur confusing many ppl here gooluck!!!!!!!!

Nitrosomonas- Ammonia to nitrite
Nitrobacter - Nitrite to nitrate
Iron bacteria - Iron (11) compound to Iron (111) compound
Nitrogen fixing bacteria - nitrogen and hydrogen to ammonia
plant uses - ammonia to amino acid

nitrifying bacteria like nitrosomonas convert ammonia into dioxonitrate(iii) nitrite and nitrobacter further convert further convert dioxonitrate(iii) to trioxonitrate(v) before it can be absorbeb by plant

nitrifying bacteria like azotobacter converts nitrites(ammonium salts) to nitrate in symbiotic nitrogen fixation.....
