I disagree with your answer myschool, the answer is A, the walls of xylem cells are thickened with a hard, strong material called lignin which aids in secondary thickening of a plant and collenchyma is a modified form of parenchyma with extra cellulose deposited at the corners of the cells which provides extra strength.
