I think it is c because
he stomach produces hydrochloric acid. This helps to begin digestion, and it kills many harmful microorganisms that might have been swallowed along with the food. The enzymes in the stomach work best in acidic conditions - in other words, at a low pH.
Bile
After the stomach, food travels to the small intestine. The enzymes in the small intestine work best in alkaline conditions, but the food is acidic after being in the stomach. A substance called bile neutralises the acid to provide the alkaline conditions needed in the small intestine.
Long story short bile is produced to neutralize effect of HCl and not D other way around

According To The Biochemist, Pytalin Action Will Be Stop In the Stomach When The PH Level Is Reduced To 2-3 i.e Acidic Medium Which Is Cause By The Present Of Dil. HCL acid in the stomach. pytalin is not favoured in acidic medium. myschool is correct.

read digestion in modern biology and confirm what I wrote and stop believing every answer u see on past question

Neutralize bile: Bile is alkaline and emulsifies fats in the small intestine, not the stomach.
B) Coagulate milk protein and emulsify fats: HCl coagulates milk protein (casein), but it doesn't emulsify fats (that's bile's job).
C) Stop the action of ptyalin: Ptyalin (salivary amylase) is an enzyme in saliva that digests carbohydrates. It is inactivated by the acidic environment of the stomach. This is the correct function.
D) Break up food into smaller particles: While HCl helps soften food, it's not the primary function. Mechanical digestion in the mouth and stomach does this more effectively

The correct answer is D. Please do well to make the correction.
Stomach acid, or gastric acid, is a watery, colorless fluid that’s produced by your stomach’s lining.
It’s highly acidic and helps break down food for easier digestion. This helps your body absorb nutrients more easily as food moves through your digestive tract.

HCl neutralise bile salt to allow the enzymes work in a good condition so A is the answer hence HCl never stop action of tylin which work in the mouth
