All of are getting this wrong. Even myschool self.
The questions says a plant showing yellow leave is likely NOT to be deficient in?
Now, you must really understand the question because what they are really asking for is a young plant which shows yellow coloration of leaves is deficient in ALL OF THESE EXCEPT ONE.
It's just English. It was merely twisted into another form
Now, we all agree that plant showing yellow leaves is very likely to be deficient in potassium and magnesium right. So that's out
Now, the deficiency of Boron is- shoots turn brown (Essential Biology Textbook). But before they totally turn brown. They'll start by turning yellowish in colour.
So, we are left with calcium. And the deficiency of calcium is- stunted growth, weak slender plant.
So the answer to the question above is Calcium.
Again, Read that question very well and try to understand what it means. I hope myschool rectify this mistake as soon as possible. Thanks

A young plant showing yellow leaves is likely **not** to be deficient in **calcium**. Yellowing of leaves, also known as chlorosis, is commonly associated with deficiencies in nutrients like **magnesium**, **potassium**, and **boron**, among others. Calcium deficiency, on the other hand, often leads to different symptoms such as blossom end rot in tomatoes or stunted growth in new leaves. Therefore, the correct answer to your question would be **A. calcium**.
