The answer is D. Internal gill stage.
From the development of the egg till maturity its called a tadpole.
A fish has internal gills.
At internal gill stage, a tadpole has an internal gill and breathes like a fish.

Don't be confused 🤔 in the development stage of tadpole,which is the tadpole stage,that's when the external and internal gills are developed used for breathing like dat of fish,so both the external and internal gills are developed under the tadpole stage,so the answer is correctly *A*...thank u
