The answer is A. Paramecium.
* Paramecium normally reproduces as*xually through binary fission. However, after many generations of binary fission, a Paramecium clone can lose its vitality and vigor. This is when the process of conjugation, a form of s*xual reproduction, takes place. Conjugation allows for the exchange of genetic material, which "rejuvenates" the clone and restores its vitality.
* Amoeba, on the other hand, reproduces primarily through binary fission and multiple fission. It does not undergo conjugation.
So this is why it is paramecium and not amoeba. I hope this helps 😎😎✍🏽
