The ans is tearing, bcos some animal e.g rabbit lack canine which is responsible for tearing and instead of canine, diastema is present

i feel the missing type of teeth is the canine . see dental formular. canines are used for tearing and chewing

Although, diastema can be found in other part of the teeth
But the major part of the teeth where the DIASTEMA is found is in the INCISORS.....in the upper front four teeth
And INCISORS is used for CUTTING while CANINES is used for TEARING
So definitely, the mammal lack INCISORS used for CUTTING as a result of the DIASTEMA present
Answer :-CUTTING

haba.. my school...una no go kill person o....the answer should be cutting and not tearing
.. diastema which is gapped tooth mostly occurs between the incisors and not canine for tearing...hmmm
