Mouthpart of the housefly are adated for sponging. All the insects are having differerent mouth parts.housefly's mouth part is not 4 piercing cos dey do nt feed on blood fluid but only the sucking dat is in the labella. In dis labella is where the sucking mechanism is found called SPONGING which makes the liquid food 2 rush into d mouth.

the answer is piercing and sucking coz housefly has proboscis which helps it to feed on liquid.

Here is an explanation:

when feeding proboscis is extended in housefly by blood pressure nd pressed on food,if food is solid,saliva secreted on it(saliva contains enzyme wich digests food extracellularly changing it to liquid) liquid food moves up fine channels of labella by capillary action nd is sucked into alimentary canal.. correct answer being piercing nd sucking..tank u.
