The pancreas produces pancreatic juice which contains digestive enzymes amylase which converts starch to sugar (maltose),trysine which converts polypeptons to peptons and lipase which converts emulsified fat to fatty acid. The pancreas also contains endocrine gland known as islets of langerhans which secrets to hormones, insuline and glucagon which are antagonistic in function: insuline initiates the convertion of excess sugar(glucose) in the blood to glycogen for storage in the liver while glucagon during low blood sugar(glucose) level,initiates the convertion of the stored glycogen in the liver back to glucose, thus increasing the glucose level of the blood...

Thier is difference between regulation of blood sugar and regulation of blood
it is the liver that regulates blood
