Greetings, The Myschool Team.
The correct answer is B(oral - cavity - stomach - oesophagus - duodenum - ileum - rectum) and not A(oral cavity - oesophagus - stomach - ileum - rectum). The distinguishing factor is the presence of duodenum in option B. Bread contains starch, which is first acted upon in the mouth and then goes through the stomach(where no enzyme digests it) and then arrives at the duodenum, where amylase present further acts on any remaining starch, converting it to maltose. It is for this reason that B is correct and not A. Please necessary corrections should be made. Thank you.
