Other options are multicellular organisms apart from volvox and chlamydomonas being unicellular organisms.

N/B: Volvox lives in colony only chlamydomonas is the unicellular organism in free form as far as this question is concerned...

other unicellular organisms that lives freely are euglena, paramecium, amoeba etc..

#so chlamydomonas is correct
