The decision to run rather than walk is voluntary (i.e. it can be controlled) and the this is the function of the CEREBRUM to control while CEREBELLUM controls posture.
The Medulla oblongata controls involuntary actions.

Please..can I get an explanation? I thought it was the cerebellum that controls voluntary movements and activities.. I'm kinda confused..

Cerebrum control involuntary action eg movement of the leg but it cannot be controlled so besides on that answer it's is not right
