A and B can't be correct because the energy from the sun is constant, pyramid of energy shows the available energy at each level, during desertification the number of photosynthesing plant will be reduced drastically, which will reduce the total amount energy from all the plants, this In turn will reduce the available amount for the primary consumer and so on, so none of the answers are correct.
