Option "D" is very correct.. Since Y is more concentrated than X. X will loss part of its water to the stronger solution. Therefore,making the level of Y to rise with a fall in X.

If Y is more concentrated than X then liquid would move to an area of lesser concentration (osmosis) so I think the answer should be A.. Admin please recheck
