the correct answer is B the amoeba undergoes binary fission in this process the cytoplasm first divides at this point they are still deoendent on themselves .
The secind stage is the division of neucleus so that they can live freely and single .
That is why amoeba is a free living organism. that option they picked is absolutely wrong
