Monera are single-celled organisms that do not possess a true nucleus(plural=nuclei). Their nucleus has no outer membrane and the cell is called prokaryotic. All other living organisms have a eukaryotic nucleus. Monera (or sometimes referred to as bacteria) are microscopic.
Only eukaryotic cells have nucleuses.
A virus is not really a cell, it is just strands of DNA covered by a protein coating.

It's monera. They are procaryotes i.e having no definite nucleus and the chromosome lie freely on a particular part of the cell.(Modern Biology S.T Ramalingam Revised Edition 2007 chap.2 pg.11 and 12).

Monera: It comprises unicellular, prokaryotic organisms, having no well-defined nucleus and no organelles.

Kingdom monera are prokaryotes the do not have definite nucleus its members are bacteria and blue-green algae

The kingdom prokaryotae(monera) lack organized Dna i.e the dna is scattered and float freely in the cytoplasm and not in the nucleus.......no true nuclei

The kingdom prokaryotae(monera) lack organized Dna i.e the dna are not enclosed with nuclear membrane , scattered and float freely in the cytoplasm and not in the nucleus.......no true nuclei

Monerans are prokaryotes
Prokaryotic cells are cells which lack or do not possess definite or true nucleus and membrane-bound organelles

The selected answer is wrong:
viruses is the most appropriate answer because:
they have a seperate kingdom meaning they have some unique characteristics
their DNA lacks a nuclear membrane
