BOTH CAN'T INCREASE IN SIZE NAH.THERE IS DIFFERENCE IN THE CONCENTRATION, ONE IS HYPERTONIC THE OTHER IS HYPOTONIC.X WILL BECOME FLACID WHILE Y WILL BECOME TURGID.

It's C due to too much water entering the cell it will increase in size and become turgid before bursting

But cell x in cell will shrink since salt is stronger that is hypertonic
