It is gametophyte, don't get it confused in a gametophyte,we have both the motile male gametes known as the man-fluidatozoa and the female non motile female gametes known as the ova producing egg.the sporophytes is ass*xual and dependent and attached to the gamtophyte. The prothalus is that of a fern.And not of bryophytes like missed and liverworts.
