Symbiont is the best bet because symbiotic relationship encompasses all both commensalism, mutualism and the rest . As of now it was not stated and direct that the organism doesnt cause harm to verify its commensalism. So therefore since its a vague question, let us now go to the broader and more general view. The question was not well structured and specific .Symbiont is the answer. thank you.

That's a classic example of a relationship in ecology.

The relationship you're describing is called Saprotrophy or Detritivory, but more specifically, it's an example of:

Detritivory

However, if we consider the organism X as a decomposer, then the relationship can be described as:

Saprotrophy

But if we want to be more general, we can say it's an example of:

Heterotrophy

Or even more specifically:

Detrital heterotrophy

However, the most specific and correct term for this relationship is:

Saprotrophy

saprophytic organisms feed on dead decaying matter and biodegradable waste so the answer is meant to be C and not B

The answer is " Parasite " this is because a parasite is the type of animal that live inside or outside a host animal, but mainly what they are all expecting for their survival { food ) in this animal they are living are just its waste products why Sapropyte animal just feed on dead and decay animals or plant but they are not living inside those animals they feed on and Finally Commensal are type of animal that also needs food for surviving from another animal ( a host ) but whenever they eat theur food gain from those animals benefit, the hosting animal that they benefit from will neither get harm nor lost of any energy
