  • O - Tick,
  • Q - Tapeworm

(b) Host of the specimens:

  • N - Pig. poultry,
  • O - Sheep, goats, cattle,
  • Q - Sheep, goat, cattle

(c) Economic importance of the specimens on their host:

Specimen N:

  • The life organism causes
  • reduced growth rate of animals
  • loss of appetite in animals
  • weakness and unthriftness
  • loss in weight/emaciation/reduced product yield
  • damages body tissues during the migration of young worms
  • animal may die from heavy infestation.
