• Chicks tend to feed on it and in the process may contact s disease.
• Cakes up easily and loses the ability to h absorb droppings.
• May accommodate sharp objects like nails which could harm the farmer animal.

• Rice Husk
• Wood shavings
• Ground maize cobs
• Crushed dry Kenaf stems.
• Dry grass.
• Dried groundnut husks

(iv) Name given to the product formed when poultry dropping mix with Specimen P (Sawdust): - Farmyard manure/poultry manure.

(v) Uses of the product mentioned in a(iv) in agricultural production: -

• To improve soil fertility.
• To improve soil structure/binds soil particles together.
• For compost making.
• For fertilization of fish pond ruminants/part of the feed for ruminants
