(iv) Water is essential for maintenance of body temperature. (v) It is important for metabolism or digestion. (vi) It is used in dipping or against ectoparasites and endoparasites. (vii) It is used for cleaning the floors or pens of drenching animals for or animals. (viii) It is also used for irrigation of pasture.
