Greetings, The Myschool Team.
The correct answer is B(carpet grass) and not D(gamba grass). Axonopus compressus, or carpet grass is not recommended for pasture due to its low nutrient content, as well as its relatively high stem to leaf ratio. On the other hand, gamba grass(Andropogon sp.) is good for pasture and has even been introduced all over the world for this purpose.
"A. gayanus was introduced as a pasture crop in many parts of the world, including Australia, tropical countries of the Americas, as well as naturalising in Brazil"
Source: Wikipedia
Thus, the correct answer is B(carpet grass) and not D(gamba grass). Thank you.
