d answer is wrong...to correct d transaction is to credit cash a/c with respect to John's a/c with d amount of N40...out of which N20 is to correct or to cancel out d initial error of debiting cash a/c and crediting john a/c while d remaining N20 is to make d correct posting of d transaction..someone should pls address dis mistake .
