coefficient of friction=frictional force/normal reaction
coefficient of friction= 0.5
frictional force F = ??
normal reaction= M x a = 50 x 10 = 500N
0.5 = F/500
F=0.5 x 500
F = 250N

Coefficient of friction = 0.5
normal reaction= mg
= m x g ; m= 50 kg, g = 10 m/s2
= 50 x 10 = 500 N
Therefore, Frictional force(Fr) = 0.5 x 500
= 0.5 x 100 x 5
= 50 x 5 = 250 N
