'Your no-good pig, and here I am feeding him everyday letting him sleep in my house. I got a knife from the kitchen. I am going to kill that pig.'
Patricia Melo: The Killer
The speaker in the excerpt above is trying to
A. brace himself up for the action
B. report the pig before killing it
C. contemplate the killing of the pig
D. justify the action of killing the pig
Why is it not D cos he clearly stated the reason for killing the pig, "no- good pig, feeds him" therefore justifying the reason he killed it..
And the answer being contemplating sounds kinda off, cos he wasn't contemplating whether to kill it or not. Please explain 🥺?
