The ideal gas equation is: PV=nRT
P=?
V=5litres (convert to dm^3)
1000cm^3=1dm^3=1litre
therefore; 5litres= 5dm^3
V=5dm^3
n=3moles
R=0.082atm dm^3 per K per mol
T=27oC (convert to kelvin)
TK=ToC + 273k
therefore; TK=27oC +273K
TK=300K

Substiuting these values into the formula:
P * 5= 3 * 0.082 * 300
5P=73.8
Divide both sides by 5
5P/5=73.8/5
P=14.76atm
therefore, the pressure is 14.8atm
