Area of trapezium=1/2(a+b)h

Area of trapezium=32cm^2
Let the given sides be a(11cm) and b(5cm)
Let the unknown length be h

Solution:
Area of trapezium=1/2(a+b)h
32=1/2(11+5)h
32=1/2*16*h
32=16h/2
cross multiply
2*32=16h
64=16h
16h=64
make "h" the subject of the formula
h=64/16
h=4cm

Hence, the length of the remaining side is 4cm
