use the highest number of hexadecimal
16^1,16^2,16^3 ............

16^1 is small for 276
16^2 is close to 276
16^3 is bigger than 276.
:, 16^2=16*16=256
276÷256=1.078
will that whole number which is 1.
1*divisor (256) =256
subtract your answer from your question
276-256=20

divide 16 by the remainder
20÷16 =1.25
1*16=16
20-16=4
if your remainder is not up to 16,you are going to write it.
276decimal=114hexadecimal.
