2 tonnes=2000kg, Load(L)=mg=2000*10=20000 mechanic advantage=Load/Effort, M.A=L/E, M.A=20000/10=2000.

Solution
2tonnes * 1000kg/tonne = 2000 kg.

M*g = 2000 * 9.8 = 19600 N.

L/E = 19,600N/10N = 1960 = Mechanical advantage.
L = Load.
E = Effort.
