Zamfara and Sokoto state public schools fail to register candidates for WAEC exams

According to Areghan, while private secondary schools in the states had field candidates for the exams, government secondary schools did not register any candidates. He stated that the reasons for the development were still unknown.

Areghan also noted that though the National Identification Number (NIN) was included as a necessary requirement during registration, it was not a compulsory requirement in order not to disqualify many candidates.
