The First Year Health Science Students Association UNN campus has kicked off their FYHESSA week. The president, Comr Bassey Edikan Effiong who made this known on his social media handle on Monday 7th June 2021 that the FYHESSA week will run from 8th June through 13th June 2021.

He started by apologizing to all FYHESSAsites because the info was dropped too suddenly and there is no time for FYHESSAsites to prepare for it so as to enable them to participate actively in the laid down activities.

He said that the events start ASAP because exams were fast approaching and he wouldn’t want any of the activities to encroach into the revision week as that will disturb students' academics while preparing for their exam as the paramount reason for being in school is to study.

Nevertheless, he says we have mapped out activities of each day which include: The Corporate Day the debut activity which is on Tuesday 8th June, the Old School Day, Sports Day, Jean Day on Wed Thursday, and Friday respectively.

Other activities include Award night, Dinner, coronation and so on… Prior to the FYHESSA week, he announced essay competition, quiz, and free tutorials to aid students to prepare for their exams. All these are organized with respect to his manifestos. He encouraged all FYHESSAsites to participate actively despite their tight schedule and assured them of a hitch-free and fun-filled week.
