The University of Lagos Business School (ULBS) hereby invites qualified candidates to apply for the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme, for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The EMBA programme is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to be effective managers and transformational business leaders in our dynamic and competitive business world. The online programme takes into consideration the busy schedule of today’s business executives, thereby making the programme available to you in your location at your convenience.

The programme offers a range of exciting courses that are designed to meet the practical needs of today’s global business and are continually evolving to remain relevant. The lectures are in real-time, hence the opportunity for interaction with the facilitators. Our inductive learning approach involves interactive teaching and case studies that expose our participants to day-to-day real-life challenges in the workplace.

OBJECTIVES OF THE EMBA PROGRAMME

• Providing an environment that inspires innovative problem solving among participants with the support of experienced academics and industry practitioners.
• Enabling managers to develop the capacity to think with clarity and develop feasible solutions that promote the well-being of their organization’s community and society.
• Exposing participants to the knowledge, skills and attributes required for effective management and leadership beyond the workplace.

THE CURRICULUM:

The curriculum offers participants with diverse background, core courses that provide a broad and solid foundation in general management as well as opportunity to select from electives that deepen knowledge in specialized business areas. The Degree awarded is: Master of Business Administration (MBA).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the EMBA programme:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an approved University
2. HND with a minimum of Upper Credit from an approved institution or HND with Lower Credit with PGD or with a minimum of 15 years work experience Professional qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIIN, ACIPM, AMNIM, ACIB and other PG qualifications will be an added advantage. In addition to the qualifications listed above, candidates must have at least 7 years post- qualification work experience OR 3 years Managerial/Administrative experience.
3. Acceptable performance at the selection interview conducted by ULBS.

STUDY MODE:

• Online Stream Participants: Lectures, Case Studies and Presentations hold online every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00p.m – 8:00p.m.
• Weekend Stream Participants: Lectures, Case Studies and Presentations hold online every Friday evenings from 5:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

PROGRAMME DURATION: Twenty-four (24) months, consisting of six (6) semesters of sixteen (16) weeks each.

SELECTION INTERVIEW: Wednesday, August 27 – Friday, August 29, 2025

COMMENCEMENT DATE: Friday, September 12, 2025
