The Provost of the Federal College of Education (Special) Oyo, Prof. Kamoru Usman has lamented the neglect of special needs learners in the country.

He, therefore, called on stakeholders in the education sector to give priority to these set of learners so that the quality of living and socio-economic development can be improved.

Prof. Usman who maintained that the cost of training special needs learners is three times the normal cost also urged the federal and state governments to improve facilities for the disabled as anybody can be in special need arising from unforeseen circumstances.
