A Delta State Polytechnic lecturer Akpituren Mogbeyi popularly known as Mr America, was killed in a ghastly motor accident on Sunday afternoon after his car collided with a truck along the Ogwashi-Uku/Asaba expressway.

Until his death, he was a lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering Department in the polytechnic and also the Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic, ASUP, Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro Chapter.
