The management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU), has announced its 71st Inaugural Lecture scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
According to the university, the lecture will be delivered by Prof. Festus Ugwuoke Agbo, a Professor of Agricultural Economics.

The lecture is titled: “Cooperating Out of Poverty: If We Co We Can Operate Out of Nigeria’s Poverty Conundrum.”
The event is expected to commence by 1:00 PM West Central Africa Time at the Senator Anyim Pius Auditorium, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Ursula Ngozi Akanwa, on behalf of the University Senate and Management, invited members of the university community and the general public to attend the academic event.
