All candidates of Lagos State origin who chose Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) and scored a minimum of 195 and Direct Entry applicants are hereby informed of the commencement of the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) for the 2025/2026 admission exercise.

The SOVE Registration Exercise will start on Monday, 30th June, 2025 and close on Friday, 18th July, 2025.

The Verification Interview will run from: Monday, 21st July, 2025 to Friday, 26th July, 2025

The interview date for each candidate will be specified on the application form.

• The SOVE does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

• ONLY candidates of Lagos State Origin are eligible for the screening exercise.
• These candidates must be CLEARED by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) BEFORE processing their POST UTME Screening forms.
