The Governing Board of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, at its thirteenth (13th) meeting held on Wednesday, 24th March 2021, approved the listing of Computer Studies and Physical and Health Education as subjects to be examined in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination from 2022/2023 exercise.

This approval brings the total number of UTME subjects to 25 from the initial 23 thereby giving the candidates a wider opportunity of subjects from where to pick.

To take the UTME, candidates are required to pick three subjects apart from the use of English which is compulsory for bringing the total number of subjects to four.
