This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi for the 2023/2024 Academic Session to register for the Post-UTME screening as detailed below.

Federal University of Technology Ikot-Abasi is one of the newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. It is located in Ikot-Abasi Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State. It is a Science and Technology oriented Universitiy and the conduct of research is in Science and Technology.

ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCREENING

Candidates MUST have passed a minimum of 5 relevant subjects at credit level in the Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or it's equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings including English and Mathematics and scored a minimum of 140 and above in the 2023/2024 JAMB Examination.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

1. Log unto https://futia.edu.ng

2. Login using your UTME Number and UTME Score

3. Updates your contact details for generating Remita Payment

4. Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) will automatically be generated for you

5. You can now put in any of the Remita Payment clicking options "Pay Now" to open the payment dialog OR click on "Generate Payment Schedule" to generate, download and print a payment schedule that contains all the necessary information needed at a Bank or Remita website

6. After successful payment you can now update your UTME details

7. Generate download and print the acknowledgement slip to complete registration details.

NOTE:

•There would be a grace period of four (4) weeks within which all approved admissions must be accepted by candidates.
