The Students’ Union Government (SUG) has been made aware of the recent development regarding an unapproved hike in bike transportation fares from the school gate to the SPS and SLS axis.

We hereby categorically state that the hike is unacceptable and has not been approved by the Union or any relevant authorities.

The agreed transport fare from the school gate to any faculty within the campus remains ₦200, with the exception of SIT.

Any attempt by bike operators to charge beyond the stipulated amount is considered a violation of the established agreement.

We urge all students to stand their ground and refuse to pay beyond the approved fare.

The Union is actively engaging with appropriate authorities to ensure full compliance and to safeguard the interest of students.

We remain committed to protecting the rights and welfare of all students.
