Federal University, Oye -Ekiti recently concluded her post- UTME examinations to test candidates seeking admission into the university in the 2014 /2015 academic session. This would be the University’s fourth post -UTME examination since 2011 when it took off.

The examination which commenced on Wednesday, July 30 lasted for four days to end on Saturday, August 2, 2014. it was learnt that over four thousand candidates applied to sit in the post - UTME examination but three thousand, seven hundred and twenty nine wrote the examination. The examination was purely computer- based; each candidate had access to her result as soon as he/she finished writing the examination.

The chairman, organizing committee of the 2014 /2015 post- UTME exercise, Prof. Rasak Bakare revealed that the university’s carrying capacity had increased from five hundred and fifty to eight hundred students.
