Nicole Ebiere, a recent graduate of the Federal University, Otuoke, awaiting NYSC posting, allegedly committed suicide on February 26, 2019. 

She was found dead in a toilet where she had reportedly locked herself in. The door was forced open hours later, after Nicole failed to come out.

Friends of Nicole took to Facebook to mourn her loss, claiming that the incident was a result of depression.
