Against the background of the ongoing Strike Action by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities and the need to engage students of the University in critical activities In connection with the Academic Calendar or Curriculum, Management at its meeting with Technologist on 17 February, 2022 directed that:

1) All staff members of Labour Unions other than ASSU should continue to render services to students in their various departments throughout the period of strike by ASSU,

2) All Technologists In the University are to continue to engage the students in the practical aspects of their study during the strike with effect from Monday, February 21, 2022.

3) Attendance of students present should be taken so as to compile the practical scores at the end of the strike.

4) Class representatives should give these directives the widest publicity and facilitate students attendance and or participation in this arrangement.

5) Students are not expected to go home because the second semester is still in progress Management shall put everything in place to ensure a peaceful environment throughout the remaining part of the second semester 2021 Academic Session.
