Available Courses
All programmes enjoy full accreditation status with the National Universities Commission (NUC).
New M.Sc. degree programmes are also being proposed in Computer Science/ICT, Geology and Mineral Sciences. These new programmes would come on stream as soon as official permission is secured from the NUC.
PGD
5 Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level; Minimum of 3rd Class in relevant disciplines from Crawford University or a recognised University. Possession of HND in relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit.
M.Sc.
5 Credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level; Possession of B.Sc. degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division from Crawford University or a recognised University. Possession of PGD in relevant discipline.
MBA
The course is designed to give a broad perspective in management to persons who have university degree or equivalent professional qualification in any discipline including Business Administration and related fields and who wish to go into a career in entrepreneurship/ management. For Admission, the following professional qualifications are acceptable, in special cases, as equivalent qualifications: ACA., ACCA., CMA. and CFA. (USA). HND with substantial experience may also be considered. However, holders of HND and the above-listed professional qualifications are required to complete one-year PGD programme in Business Administration as a prerequisite for admission into the MBA programme.

All course examinations shall be moderated by external examiners. The MBA programme is of four semesters of full-time registration. The fourth semester is for project preparation. The project is meant to train students in problem analysis and report writing which they will need in business life.
M.Phil./Ph.D.
Candidates seeking admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree Programme of Crawford University must possess the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees of Crawford University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Crawford University in the relevant discipline. To qualify for direct entry into the Ph.D. degree programme, a candidate must have a minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5.00 scale or equivalent (60%) in the Master’s (M.A./M.Sc./M.Eng./M.Tech.) programme. The M.Phil./Ph.D. programme is intended to prepare candidates for the Ph.D. degree.
Candidates with professional Master’s degrees are not eligible for the Ph.D. programme except they obtained M.Sc. degrees in the relevant fields.
The minimum duration of study for the award of Ph.D. degree is three academic sessions for full time and four academic sessions part-time.
