The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has officially announced the opening of hostel accommodation for the student body.

In a notice signed by the Union’s Secretary General, Abdullahi Hussaini Sanka, the SUG stated that the availability follows a series of constructive engagements with the University Management. All eligible students are advised to proceed promptly with their booking to secure accommodation.

The Union acknowledged the delay in opening the hostels, accepting full responsibility for any inconvenience caused. It expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding demonstrated by students during the period.

The statement highlighted the challenges often inherent in advocacy and engagement processes but reaffirmed the Union’s confidence in achieving steady progress through continuous student support, cooperation, and feedback.

“The mandate entrusted to us by the students remains our greatest strength,” the notice read, assuring students of the SUG’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding their welfare and representing their interests at all times.
