This is to inform the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK) and the entire University Community that the 2018/2019 first semester short break will commence from Friday, 28th June to Sunday, 7th July, 2019, following the end of the 2018/2019 first semester examinations on Thursday, 27th June, 2019.

Consequently, the 2018/2019 second semester academic activities including lectures will commence on Monday, 8th July, 2019.

Students are strictly advised to return to campus immediately the one week break lapses, and resume lectures.

Attendance to lectures will be recorded and defaulters will be penalized accordingly as stipulated in the University General Academic Regulations.
