A refrigerator is a specialized facility used for the storage of fruits and vegetables. It is an appliance that is designed to eliminate
heat and so lower the temperature of its contents, and to maintain a temperature below the ambient temperature of the room.
This slows down the natural biological processes that take place in food and other perishable goods, and so prolongs the period in
which such goods are fit for consumption. A barn is a large farm building used for storing grain, hay, or straw or for housing
livestock. A silo is a tall tower or pit on a farm used to store grain. A tank is a large, often metallic, container for holding or storing
liquids or gases.
