In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Education and Yoruba under the Faculty of Education in the above listed universities include;
Yoruba and any two (2) subjects chosen from History, Literature in English, French, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Arabic, Geography and Physics.
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Education and Yoruba;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language and Yoruba.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Education and Yoruba, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) NCE/'A' Level passes in Yoruba and any of Literature in English, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Igbo and French.
