1) أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ
[Have you seen him who denies the Recompense?]
2) فَذَ‌ٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ
[That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly),]
3) وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ
[And urges not on the feeding of Al-Miskîn (the needy),]
4) فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
[So, woe to those performers of Salât (prayers),]
5) الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
[Those who delay their Salât (prayer)(from their stated fixed times).]
6) الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ
[Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men),]
7) وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ
[And withhold Al-Mâ'ûn (small kindnesses).]
