What reason did Mr Guta give for being angry with Mr Fafore?
Mr Guta was angry with Mr Fafore and wanted to get him fired simply because he spotted a supposed "grammatical error" in his son's note. It is eventually discovered that what he found was not a grammatical error but a properly constructed expression. This entire incident can be found in chapter six of the novel.
